Rainbow Blade: the boss-killer only obtained via cheats. It contains the abilities of all the blades along with a screen-wide attack that can be initiated by dealing damage to fill up a bar. The range is shorter for this blade as a downside.
You can also select any blade you want as you unlock them by going through the levels
Ice Blade: upon hitting an enemy or projectile with your Blade, the blade launches 3 Ice Shots in a diverging trajectory, as a downside however, you lose the ability to destroy enemy shots.
Green Blade: more powerful than the og Fiery Blade and upon pressing z will plant a cactus which then fires projectiles straight ahead, the limit is 1 cactus at a time. The Green Blade can also destroy enemy shots as an upside.
