A note to the previous post: this happened a year ago, including all my other projects at the moment. Plus, I had forgotten all about GameJolt by then. Luckily, I still had my login info so I returned here (More information on Creations in the article).


This officially means that ALL OF MY GAMES ON GAMEJOLT (at the moment of writing this) will be PERMANENTLY DISCONTINUED. The only exception is Sonic Creations, which I will either:

  • Rewrite the code from scratch.

This is probably the safer bet, especially with the fact that the old code for Creations is really bad.

  • Salvage what I can.

This one poses more risks, as the way to regain it is questionable, although it was made by a developer of the engine itself.

  • Fully discontinue it.

This final option is if I lose all hope with either option. It might happen, though, as I am working on an indie game (don't worry, I'll update when I can). But I'm polling to let the community decide the final option. The poll closes in 2 weeks/14 days (May 22, 2022) and the results will be made public on June 1, 2022.

I've only got two images of what's coming to Sonic Creations and the THAW Engine V2.2's release.

I lost the source code for this game a while ago. But, there is STILL HOPE! I found the original .pck file and extracted it, although I am forced to build the engine from scratch to be able to reimport it. Progress update coming sometime?

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
