A question for fnaf game developers

My project has basically been in the works for 11 years now but only exists as a document that’s been revamped countless times. Eventually when this is actually in the works I want to ensure this game maintains a good reputation but also is something people will enjoy.

My question is, especially from your experiences, what should I expect? In terms of what people truly enjoy for these games. And what are things I should expect when I actually can bring my work to life?

Obviously people love lore, the horror, etc. But I want to ensure my project hits those marks and is enjoyable especially other factors that I might be missing.
