We have almost hit 5,000 plays, and 15,000 views.

I don’t even know how to respond to that number, it’s too big to even think about. You have all been fantastic, and it has been amazing talking to all of you wonderful people, and we’re doing our best to use your suggestions and feedback to make Determination all it can be.

I’d like to give a shout out to a few people who have helped us on our way so far. Naturally TeamSwitched, and Underswap where among the first to contact us, as mentioned in a previous news post, however there has also been a lot of support from some of you awesome people in the YouTube community as well, here is a quick rundown of a few of you in no particular order (I’m really really sorry if I miss you, it really is hard to keep track of all of the videos and support we are receiving):

That list is by no means exhaustive, and increases seemingly by the hour. It’s impossible for us to keep track of, but we really do watch as many of them as we can, and it has helped us find and fix a LOT of things with determination.

This is all before we’ve mentioned the crazy amount of support in the form of comments, and messages via so many different methods it’s hard to keep track of everything. We really are trying to get back to everyone, (although it seems hard at times!) so I apologize if I’ve missed you, feel free to send the message again if I don’t get back to you in a day or two, and that will make sure you get a response as soon as possible.

Now on to patch 0.1.9:
I really wanted to hold off on this patch until I had added more to it, HOWEVER, we managed some huge performance improvements. There’s still more places I would like to leverage some of these new improvements, however the impact on gameplay was so huge I just had to get this patch out ASAP. If you’ve not beaten determination yet, seriously consider downloading this version, you will have a MUCH better time.
Also, thanks to some comments by Madam Sharky this version experiments with different damage levels for different attacks, I think overall it makes the game easier, so I might consider adding an option to play it in it’s original brutal, unforgiving state later on down the line.
