Good day folks,

it's been a while. And while I still consider this game finished, I had to make a little change regarding a certain word said by Rainbow Dash. The game is unavailable for a short time until the new build is uploaded.

Back then, I was already a bit uncomfortable to use said word, but just thought "Come on, let's get all out on this one.". Yeah, not really smart, but I matured over time, surprisingly.

While there weren't any consequences so far, I'd rather not wait until there are. And even if the word wasn't used in any malicious or insulting way (although it was kinda used as an insult... which was really not my intention), you just need the wrong people to see it. Not even the people it actually would affect. Looking at you, Twitter.

Now, that being said, I also took the time to look at a few comments which were made since the game's completion. Unfortunately, the comments are already a few months old or older, and thus probably won't need an answer anymore. If there are problems still recent, feel free to comment it below here.

To answer a few questions which might be relevant for some people:

Q: One or several files are missing and crashing the game.

A: I rechecked the files and they are there in the files I archive and release. My first guess would be trying to run the game as admin. As the user Wolf2 pointed out, it could also be related to the long folder and file names. In that case, try to rename the main folder to simply "MLFP". But it's not a guaranteed solution and unfortunately, I lack the programming skills to be able to look deeper into it. There's a reason I use the RPG Maker :/

Q: What is the archive "The Fallen One" for?

A: Although there is a devlog explaining it, I'll do it again: This is for the game's epilogue "The End of Time". It's an alternate way to unlock it if you don't have the save files anymore or are otherwise not able to access the riddle in Chapter 5 of God of Debauchery. The passwords are the same answers you'd have to type into the crystals of said riddle. The global save file you find there needs to be pasted into the main folder. Said file would be created automatically after solving the riddle. Once the file is there, The End of Time will appear in the chapter selection.

Q: What about the weapons from the lootboxes in Rise of Tirek?

A: They're jokes. Unless you find a way to hack them into the main game, you'll never be able to use them ;) it's supposed to mock pay2win and lootbox systems.

Q: What happens if I hack this game?

A: I'd be very mad >:( jokes aside, if you do it for yourself, feel free. If you want to make a mod to release, feel free as long as you credit the original and make it clear that it is a mod for the original. Otherwise I'd be forced to take action.

However, if you just take the game, change a few things and then release as if it was yours, don't expect mercy. I had such a case when the game was very young. I didn't forget mister, and I still can't believe you tried to tell ME it was your game from scratch despite HAVING ALL MY ORIGINAL FILES IN IT. Some people...

Q: Can you translate the game to x?

A: I lack the skills to translate it myself (google translator is no option) and the resources to make someone else do it. If you want to, you can make a translation and upload it. Remember to credit the original, like said above.

Q: Can I recruit Springtrap in Robitic Tale?

A: You can't. But a fun fact: I considered making the player search different parts of him and put him together as a bonus character. But that didn't came out the way I would have liked to. Then he was supposed to join on the stairs to the final boss. But that felt cheap. There's leftover-dialogue for that in the audio-files, if you want to search for it ;) but no, he can't be played.

Q: Where are the other "Update Bosses"?

A: First off: They only can be fought in normal mode. In hard mode, they would be straight up impossible. I mean, I could have scaled them down, but that would kill the entire point of the hard mode. 2 of them you unlock after beating all guards and getting all elements. The third is hidden in the ball room. Check the fancy thing ;)

Thanks for sticking with me. Finally, I want to apologize that the game can be a mess at some points for some computers. It's the first big project I did and many limits of the engine had to be broken with external scripts. Due to that and the game's size, errors are bound to happen. Nonetheless I hope you had a rather enjoyable experience... if you got past the title screen
