Um... Hi! So normally I don't really do posts like this, but this is something that's really important to me personally.

So a lot of you know me, some of you seeing this might not, but you don't know my name! Which sounds weird, right? I uh, guess I should get to the point:

Hi! My name's Evelyn, you can call me Evie!

so... yeah! I uh, changed my name. Why? Well it's for multiple reasons.

Alyx never really, like, felt like my name. It felt more like a label, the whole reason I even picked it was because a friend said it sounded like a mineral. Sure, it doesn't really need to be deeper than that, but I wanted something that felt more like, well, me!

Plus, seeing as I wanna legally change my name soon I figured it'd be nice to pick something that actually feels like my name and defines who I am. I've never really fully known who I was until recently, and seeing as this is the start of a new chapter for me I figured it was time to finally find my actual name.

Evelyn just sounds like me! When I hear it, I think "oh shoot that's my name!!" and I think the nicknames for it are really really cute, and just... yeah!

So what does this mean? Well, not much really. Obviously I've updated all my socials, my discord display name is a prime example lmao

I know this is gonna be an adjustment for some of you which is totally fine! You can still call me Steak or Alyx, I don't mind those names at all! But I would really really appreciate it if y'all tried calling me by my real name, it would really mean a lot.
