A sort of status update on Week At Freddy's and future projects to come.

The project is officially cancelled. There are to reasons to this.

  1. I am not longer fond of FNAF community nor FNAF Fan-Games. I don't want myself involved with FNAF as a gaming community anymore. And although I might play a few of the upcoming FNAF Fan-Games when they release and might even streaming, I do not want to make FNAF Fan-Games anymore. This is a non-profit area for me or anybody else.

  2. The game files and everything I was making for Week At Freddy's got deleted with no way of getting it back. It all happened due to my mistake and wiping off my entire hard drive with all of the files on it. So I can't and will not hand this project to anyone else, although I might reconsider it if I will find a person who will be competent enough to remake the entire thing.

New projects

With that said, I do have new projects in mind. They will take a lot of time to actually put together, and I hope me and my team will succeed in the said new projects. For now we are starting to work on the first project that will be announced when we get to work on the actual game aspect of things. For now it is proof of concept only. Consider this a sort of unofficial announcement of it.

All future projects will most likely be moved away from Gamejolt. Why? Simply put: Gamejolt isn't it anymore. It used to be a good platform for indie games, but at the moment it has been treating it's creators badly. So my final decision on behalf of our team is to move all of our future projects to itch.io. We will be making an account here soon, so stay tuned for that.

Talking about future projects, I am moving to 3D engines, since 2D engines like Clickteam aren't enough. I want to start off simple enough with the new project that me and my team are currently making. It will be a single player horror game that I plan to be multiplayer too. I won't reveal too much about it though. Again, we are at the moment at the stage of making a proof of concept prototype and then we are going to polish it a little more and announce it.

That is it for now. I will have more info to come soon about our projects whenever we start working on them.
