A trip down memory lane? some old roblox tubbyland stuff from 2017

Hello ladies and gentlemen, paul here.

I don't think I've shown anyone these things before, but I wanna show you some stuff that is sadly long gone, which were some early models for a cancelled Roblox recreation of Five Nights at Tubbyland I made back in 2017. I was 13 years old at the time I made these andI kind of don't really like them looking back on it.

I posted these to the Tubbyland wiki in blog posts around that time, however over time I lost motivation in the project and when the old hard drive in my other PC went oof in 2020, the files containing these models went along with it. But I guess you could say that these models were a learning experience since the ones I made in the past year are... kind of better, somehow. Sure they look blocky but thats the kind of style I wanted to aim for, due to my lack of modelling skill outside of roblox.

Anyways the images shown: a finalised model of Po, a model of the Noo-Noo being built with models of the beta tubby-bots and an earlier Po model in the background, a top-down view of the first game's map and a teaser featuring the beta tubby-bots with the Noo-Noo visible on the left if brightened. If you're wondering about the name spongebobpaul in the bottom right of the final image, it was what I had when I first made my Roblox account back in 2011. I go by TheFireOshawott04 on most sites now, including here on Game Jolt.

Alright I think I've rambled on for long enough, but now you know a little bit of history. I really do feel old looking back at these images lol. - paul

Next up

happy new year everyone.

revamped arcade camera is finished! I haven't put it into the game yet but here it is... it's a little rough in some areas but otherwise I'm happy with how it turned out

more to come very soon

alright. time to get myself into gear and finish version 1.5; hopefully before the end of the year. and i mean it!

here's a new raichu image for the game's main menu to replace the old one I made waaayyy back at the start of development (in the 2nd image)

revamped party area camera is finally done. here's what it looks like in-game!

all that's left is the arcade camera and I'll be done, then I can move on to adding the final adjustments to version 1.5

popgoes evergreen but better

revamped party area is almost done - here I used GIMP to place the pokémon images on the walls using the program's unified transform tool. I'm going to draw some new images next to where natu and hoothoot are, just to fill in the empty spaces

Something happened

when there was one

#FNAF

new supply closet camera is done; here it what it looks like in-game. I've also remodelled some parts of the camera map a little bit if you couldn't tell, just so it's slightly more consistent with the size of the rooms

now time to revamp the party area camera

if you're wondering how I do this, I model the room in roblox studio, take a screenshot once finalised and then trace over the image. not the most preferable method but I do it because I am very bad at perspectives

Suggested by @Frozen_Dark_Oswald , I hope you like it!!

started working on a revamp of the supply closet camera

I plan to redo the ones for the party area and arcade after I am done with this. I'll also try to post progress of stuff that's coming/being changed in v1.5 as frequently as I can!
