A very important announcement (pls read)

I’m quitting game development.
well, not exactly.
Really, I’m just changing my name. I don’t want to be known as “that guy who made that fangame”. I’m changing my “game development name” if you will, but I’m not saying what it is. You will probably find out sooner or later, but yeah.

‘what does this mean?’ you may be asking yourself. well, it means this page will be deleted. I never intended for it to become big. To be honest, it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. It was a joke me and my friend made up where I said “what if instead of Freddy Fazbear’s, it was Chuck E. Cheese’s”. I created a little game put together in about a week and it blew up, eventually reaching the point where PewDiePie played it. I was so happy, that I created the full game, hoping that he would play that version too. But alas, he didn’t.

HOWEVER, many other bigger YouTubers played it instead, I had no idea. When YouTubers such as RiskRim and Dawko, who where my favourite YouTubers, played the game I was so confused. “Why are they actually trying to complete the game?” I said to myself. I never expected it to become popular. It was one of the first fangames. I didn’t want it to become popular. I wanted a game that was original, and didn’t use real life animatronics.

That’s when I attempted to make ‘Duncan’s Arcade’. It gained alot of followers, and development went pretty well, until I just gave up. The only evidence that’s left is this: http://i.imgur.com/o9AiowY.png

That was “Cocoa the Cat”. As you can see, it is very cringeworthy. I had no idea how to model and just put together a few spheres and cubes.

Then, I tried to create Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese’s 2.

5 times…

The first attempt was a remake of the demo, literally. It was just a remake with 5 nights, although, I didn’t get round to finishing the first night. I don’t really know what the second attempt was, but the only evidence I have is this: http://i.imgur.com/cwKLvaU.png

The third attempt was, again, a remake of FNaCEC 1, but with new features. It had a TV in the top corner. I don’t know what it did, but it was there for some reason. That’s the only thing I can remember. The fourth attempt was the most successful, as I got about 25% into development, and even created a page and created a trailer. Eventually, I gave up on development. I feel terrible, as I lied to you guys, saying “the files got lost.” Hopefully you can forgive me.

The fifth attempt, however, got nowhere. Litterally, I announced it, then immediately took the announcement down. I think only 3 people saw it.

I doubt anyone will have read everything I just said, but meh. What can I do?

I’m keeping this page up for memories, but I’m leaving GameJolt. I’m deleting every account I have associated with “jollytea”, apart from my YouTube account. That will only exist for random stuff, such as SFM animations and shit.

So, thank you all for an amazing year.
Goodbye.
