Wow, just realised that it’s a whole year since I released my first proper little game to the world for free right here on gamejolt. It’s been great. Watching lets play videos became my new hobby. Reaching over 300k viewers via Gloom was amazing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uH4CF2p8bo , and yes I know they were there for her, coz she’s awesome, but I’ll take the reflected glory :). I entered both the BAFTAs and the SXSW games awards. Received a total of $24.28 in revenue from the lovely folks who spared a few pennies, even though I didn’t ask for any. BTW This will go to charity when I withdraw it (muscular distrophy UK). In fact I’ll double it before I donate, assuming some rich git doesn’t pay some crazy amount for the game just for a larf, well I mean if they do I’ll still donate it but might not be able to double it…oh look I’ll double it up to $200 ok? I started writing and developing a new game (YAY!). I got a real job (BOO!). The money enabled me to buy some sweet Unity assets (YAY!) but meant I had no time to do anything with them (BOO!). The new game is a bit too ambitious so will be a while coming. keep checking back and I’ll keep you posted.
