Abandoned: Discovery Island Classic – 1.2.3 Hotfix Released


This hotfix fixes errors with Corruptus's AI as well as fixing the save creation/import behavior, which was unintentionally made even more broken.

Fixes

  • (From 1.2.2) The firstrun value is no longer repeatedly set to 0 in the save migration screen - fixes the game attempting to repeatedly create/import save data.

  • (From 1.0/1.2.0) Fixed various issues with the handling of Corruptus's AI when the power was out.

  • (From 1.0) Nightmare now uses the panorama effect.

Known Issues

  • A strange softlock may rarely occur in Floor 3 of Pirate Caverns. Still looking into the cause.

  • Exiting fullscreen mode is unintuitive (❖+↓).

  • Pluto and Daisy's office sprites can display above Ace's. (planned fix version: 1.3.0)

  • Willy's AI is easily exploitable.

  • Clear data fails to save on certain systems after getting the True Mickey ending.
