About the project

This didn't really fit in with the theme of the last post so I'm making another. (also I don't know why I didn't post the last post in the Godot group)

Anyway I feel like I should say that this is just a side project I'm doing to kinda take a break from my main project (Homeworld Takedown) and I'm trying to get in done as soon as I can. That means somethings in this game will suffer like art and sound even though it's not like my other games are great in those categories. Depending on how people feel about this when I start having people play test it will determine if I pursue this game further than the video I plan to make with my friends. So if you want this game to continue when it releases please let me know and give me your feedback!

Conclusion:

I'm having a lot of fun making this game as I've said once before Godot is a really relaxing engine to use. It's not like unity or unreal it is very powerful yet very simple. I plan on doing more of these types of posts while I'm working on this game where I just share my thoughts so if you like them please share your support!

The new enemy is implemented and rough design for the armory.

A little bit of the pixel art I made for the game so far!

Stick is one of my favorite effects in INSECTILE because of how it lets you bypass these caterpillar guys' little stingers. It's also super satisfying that all the damage pops at once!

I forgot to show the new ship lighting...
