In March, I made a post that teased a new game I said was going to release in time for April Fools' Day. Unfortunately, I have overestimated my abilities and the game has grown in scope. Because of this, the game will have to be delayed.
As compensation for this, I have decided to reveal the game, and a demo for the first week will be available shortly.
The game is called "3 Weeks of Giuseppe."
You play as Giuseppe Mario, the third Mario brother.
After your last adventure, your evil clone, Evil Giuseppe, has escaped from your evil clone lab, and has created a group of evil clones to destroy you.
They've chased you into a mysterious building with three floors. Each week, you will need to complete elevator-fixing minigames to be able to proceed to the next week.
In the first week, the clones that are present are:
Evil Giuseppe
Evil Giuseppe is a clone of Luigi Giuseppe that will circle around the map, and will occasionally pop into your office. When this happens, you must get out your taser and shock him to make him leave.
Antonio
Antonio is a clone of Wario that is fast asleep in the corner of the map. When he wakes up, a sound cue will play, and you will have to shut your eyes before he breaks into your room to show you his shoes or else you will die of jealousy.
Pill Evil Giuseppes
Every night, you will have to take a colored pill, and deal with the corresponding Pill Evil Giuseppe.
Every Pill Evil Giuseppe will occasionally pop up and demand that you collect their 8 coins within a 20-second time limit. If you fail to do so, you will have to deal with the consequences.
Lorenzo the Jeansman
Lorenzo is a clone of Mario that is locked away in a denim padded cell. In his cell is a denim-flavored candle, which you must keep lit in order to keep him at bay. Once the denim flavor meter depletes, he will leave his padded cell and head towards your location.
You can relight the candle once he leaves, and if he makes it to your office, you'd better hope that the denim flavor meter is full again, or else you'll get the denim treatment.
Every week will introduce a new threat, and to proceed to the next week, you must complete your elevator-fixing minigames. If you do not, you won't be able to proceed.
The minigame pictured is the minigame "Jetpackseppe," in which you must fly between groups of pipes, similar to Flappy Bird.
Also, happy birthday to Mizore!
