This project holds a special place for me, as it was the first game I developed entirely on my own in Clickteam, without relying on any FNAF templates. Because of that, it represents a major milestone in my journey as a developer and remains my personal favorite out of everything I’ve created so far.
As development went on, I realized I wasn’t fully satisfied with the game remaining purely 2D. Rather than abandoning the project, I chose to rework it into a beta, allowing it to exist as a snapshot of where the game began while giving me room to expand and improve upon the original vision.
The original version released in 2024 now serves as the beta version and will remain available alongside the full release of Simon and Friends. The beta includes the full five hours of gameplay and all achievements; however, it does not feature any endings, nor does it include current bug fixes.
The full version of the game will introduce proper sound design, voice acting, a more immersive 3D-inspired environment, and two distinct endings—a good ending and a bad ending—bringing the experience closer to what I originally envisioned.
Finally, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported and helped me throughout this journey. Your encouragement and contributions have made Simon Skunk a reality, and I truly appreciate every single one of you. Much love, always.
