Hexelectron here, what's up everyone? Since SCW's release, I've been actually working on a content update for the mod. This is in line with the upcoming announcement trailer of the new Super Cat Tales game, which will influence the next update for SCW going forward. Here's my plans ahead, as well as some questions answered:

So, what's with the announce trailer for the new Super Cat Tales game?

On April 28, 2022, a new announce trailer for the next Super Cat Tales game is being released on Neutronized's YouTube channel. At the time of this post's writing, the Premiere hasn't started yet, but if you want to check it out either way, you can see it below:

For the new Super Cat Tales game, new content means new business for SCW. With a wealth of new story content and levels comes all new media-related content including new sprites, tilesets, music, and audio. SCW has a long-term history of including assets from newly-released games and updates to SCT2 during prerelease development, and knowing SMWar's limitations, there's still room for new content including tilesets and skins for everyone to enjoy and use in their creative maps.

What will SCW's next update contain?

For starters, yes, the next update will contain content from the new Super Cat Tales game. This includes tilesets, skins, music, and more. I hope these new tiles are of use to some of you who want to make some pretty swell maps!

Additional changes and plans I've made were as follows:

• New high quality versions of the Slime Labs 2 music have been added for the next update, replacing the browser versions. The mobile version of Slime Labs 2 contains high quality versions of the music by Dave Cowen, including a new retro-styled arrangement of the first stage music by Raku (DREAMSBELL).

• It should be obvious by then that new maps are also being added to SCW via its next content update. If you think 210+ isn't enough, how about (Undetermined high number)? Hehe...

• New skins are planned, these include new NPCs from SCT2 and SCT1 (including King Oro, Captain Lace, and possibly playable Dark Kallio.), as well as any possible new characters from the new SCT game if announced.

• I've debated on the possibility of a second story that's smaller than Story Mode, but more details on that will come if that comes to fruition. Don't expect too much!
