After YEARS of wanting to start painting, I finally started yesterday. I’ve been collecting paintings I wanted to recreate on Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram and Game Jolt.


I’ve only completed 2 pieces but am learning a ton in the process which has been really rewarding. It feels like my brain is literally exercising. 

I haven’t made anything I’m actually proud of, mainly because I’m just recreating horrific versions of people’s art I admire in order to learn. I also haven’t invested in quality brushes, paints or canvases since it doesn’t make sense to at my absolute beginner / see if I even like painting phase.

With all that said… I feel really accomplished and proud of myself for FINALLY doing the thing.

I also made yogurt from scratch—another thing I’ve been wanting to do. It’s so stupid easy, I can’t believe I haven’t tried it sooner.

Anywhooooo I hope you all try that THING that you keep pushing off this week. It feels great!
