So I've somehow managed to build a string of code in XL that's so potent that it causes Clickteam itself to crash if I try to run the game. Especially upsetting, as this line of code is the one that 's supposed to manage the new challenger encounters and the victory pop up.
Suffice to say that at the very least, the game will be unplayable for the foreseeable future, and at the very worst will be outright scrapped due to how much stress it's been causing me ever time I come back to it.
UPDATE: So it says that objects in the frame are corrupted.
Motivation to keep this project alive is rapidly dying.
