Truly, no amount of looking back at my progress could convince me that I deserve even a fraction of the followers I have.
I've made friends, I've made aquaintences, I've gained so much in terms of skill, that it's baffling to believe that 5 years ago I could hardly draw an eye, let alone a whole face.
Art for me has been something that's dug me out of holes that I never thought I could crawl out of. Posting my art here was never 100 percent for fame or recognition, though I can't deny I did like the recognition, as it helped boost my confidence.
Though, posting my art here has allowed me to again, gain confidence in my art, and myself.
So, to any of my followers, or any other person who wants to make art but feels like they aren't enough, go back to my old art and look how far I've come. Don't let yourself be let down if you don't get it immediately. Go forward and just draw, no matter how long it takes.
And to everybody on this website who's ever given me inspiration, encouragement, or friendship, and to everybody who's ever given me a like. Because all the likes mattered to me.
Cheers, to my 5th year on gamejolt!
