As I said in last news update, new enemies are coming. In this update aliens have been added, and they will be shooting at you. Despite of being placeholder graphics I’ve animated them so it’s a bit cooler.

About the aliens, you have to dodge the bullets, they do no damage to the city so its fine to let them through (the aliens DO hurt the city though).

Aside from the aliens, another great feature comes with this update. It was an easy to implement one, but for some reason I didn’t think of it before. Now the browser will save your game data between game sessions, so if you play a bit, go away and come back after a while, you will have any gold and upgrades you had on the previous game :D

A small warning, though: As you know this is a beta. It is really really likely that your saved game data becames obsolete and is deleted at some point during development, and if its not, it will surely be reset on release.

Coming Soon (in priority order):

• Restart game with keyboard (instead of only by clicking play again)

• Difficulty adjustment to make it increase smoothly over time, overall the game will feel a bit easier I think

• More enemies! I have pirates, ninjas and some other stuff in store (sprites done), so I will be adding them as soon as I have the time to do so.
