So this is it, officially I’m not going to continue development here, at least for the time being. The code is FLOSS, if anyone wants to continue, then ctx me.
Lessons learned? Don’t publish the project before it’s playable. By showing the game on a very early stage I felt forced to continue, this was not good for motivation.
Also, there is no shame in choosing an easier engine to develop in. Love is nice, but it was way too cumbersome to get going and to publish Linux binaries. I should have done some more research before starting.
I hope to revisit this idea in the future, but I can’t tell when is it going to happen, so I won’t keep everybody waiting.
