Full list of changes:
Lightning "Hazard" introduced. Starting at difficulty level Hephaestus, red exclamation points will appear along the puddle line. For each exclamation point, 1.5s after appearing, a lightning bolt will come down on that position. If the fire touches the bolt, it will gain 8 degrees of heat for every frame spent in contact with the bolt, for an absolute maximum of 16 frames per bolt, which is how long each bolt lasts for.
The flame gets faster at Wave 9, increasing from 8 to 10 pixels per frame, then increases again to 13 pixels per frame at Wave 17.
When the total number of droplets from the Cloud is significantly below the cap, the spawn rate doubles or triples (depending on the level and the threshold). This greatly increases the difficulty curve at late waves of a level.
Raindrop speeds adjusted, so they still get faster over time, but the speed increase now has diminishing returns for the droplet. Horizontal speed overall reduced.
Level 2 and Level 3 now have significantly more waves, and waves last significantly less time. This makes the density of the rain increase significantly faster.
"Keep Going!" notifier properly centered on the screen.
Coming in Next Update:
The lightning will be able to create bursts of steam on contact with puddles. Since Steam already condenses into Condensed Droplets that don't contribute to the rain cap, this will be able to backfire on you by creating dense clusters of water that can take away huge chunks of heat all at once.
Coming Soon:
More levels with new environments.
Coming Eventually:
Powerups:
A magnet that makes it easier to block more rain but summons more lightning.
A lightbulb that lets the umbrella convert nearby puddles into steam and warms the flame if it's close enough.
Save file creation and level select menu so you don't get kicked all the way back to the start like Sisyphus when the fire gets too cold.
