This is probably one of the best nonbinary/trans reps I have seen so far in a manga series. The description given on mangadex does not do it justice. It follows Ryuunosuke Mogumo, who goes by "Mogu-chan" due to not liking their birth name, as they work at a cross dressing maid Cafe. At first glance I expected this to be fetishization of cross dressers and trans people, or just bait, but I was pleasantly surprised. The story itself follows several young characters (including but not limited to two trans women, a closeted lesbian, and a gay couple) as they explore and struggle with their identities and learn to love and accept each other regardless of gender. Towards the end it also manages to tackle homophobia/transphobia and learning to change your views and accept what is different. I wish I could say more without spoiling too much but really it's beautiful and needs to be read. It was surprisingly decently educational and a very sweet slice of life. Solid 8/10 recommendation <33 #manga #trans #lgtbqia #lgtbq #nonbinary #mangarecs
