Truck Radio

- 4 stations: 97.3 FM THE WAVE, AM 650 NIGHT TALK, AM 1040 NEWS RADIO, AM 1610 (numbers station)

- WAVE FM plays real music — 6 tracks from Free Music Archive (Ketsa, pat102)

- Drop your own MP3/OGG files into the music folder to add them to the playlist

- N = next station, B = power toggle; physical dashboard buttons also work

- Radio volume slider in the pause menu

Phone Music App

- New MUSIC tab on the in-game phone (Tab key)

- Spotify-style layout: album art, track name, progress bar, prev/play-pause/next controls

- Shows playback position live; Open Music Folder button for easy access

Creature Audio

- Each encounter has a unique positional audio identity — sound pans as creatures move

- Road ghost plays a scream on spawn, audible from far ahead

- Distinct pitch per creature: ghost, watcher, passenger, follower, site monster

Radio Corruption (dread-based music degradation)

- Dread 5+: subtle pitch drift — music breathes and feels slightly alive

- Dread 6+: CD-skip glitches jump the playback position

- Dread 7+: quiet dissonant tones bleed in underneath the music

- Dread 8+: pitch warping intensifies, amplitude tremolo, music occasionally

reroutes through a demon audio chain (0.45x pitch + distortion)

- Dread 9+: extreme wobble with harmonic irregularity and random jitter

- Dread 10: near-continuous chaos — rapid skips, heavy tremolo, repeated

demonic routing; music is barely recognizable

Fullscreen Map (M key)

- Opens an 800x700 overhead map of the city

- Markers for player position, delivery destination, gas stations,

shops, horror threats, and dispatch NPC

- GPS route line, compass, and off-map edge arrows

- Camera follows player/vehicle in real time

Save / Load

- Game auto-saves on delivery and each morning

- Manual Save and Load buttons in the pause menu (ESC)

- Saves: money, dread, day, artifact inventory, master/radio volume

Dread Atmosphere

- Vignette darkens progressively as dread rises above 3

- Red flash on each dread increase

- Headlights flicker randomly at dread 7+

Watcher Leaves Artifacts

- 25% chance a Watcher leaves an artifact pickup when it despawns

- Rarity weighted by current dread level

Gas Station Dynamic Pricing

- Fuel price scales with day number, dread level, and time of day

- Displayed in the interaction hint before you commit to refuelling

Artifact Catalog Expanded

- 47 → 71 artifacts across all rarity tiers

- New common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary entries

Multiplayer Radio Sync

- Station, power state, and track position sync between host and clients

- Immediate sync on station change, skip, or power toggle

- Volume is always local

FIXES

- Music was nearly inaudible — moved to a dedicated bus bypassing AM filters

- Road ghost scream now plays on spawn, not on collision, and is audible from distance

- Ghost scream pitch corrected to natural pitch (was shifted too low to recognise)

- Try Again button on game over screen now works correctly

- Several GDScript warnings treated as errors resolved across multiple files
