Hey.
So, the next area is almost complete. The theme is set, the structure is decided, and the tileset is created. I am just having some issues caused by the need to create puzzles. You may have already noticed it, but I think it has gotten to be a bit of a problem with puzzles being very... similar? (For example, the two buttons you both need to activate is a reoccurring piece of most puzzles seen so far.)
Just so you all know, I do have the story pretty much all done in my head, and I know what I want to do with it. I'm just constantly needing to make puzzles.
I'm gonna try adding a few things to make them a bit more different, but I am not particularly good at making puzzles, so this is gonna take a lot of time to figure out.
Also, I'm also not getting as much time as I'd like to work on projects like this as of right now, so that'll slow me down a bit more too.
Rest assured, I will not cancel this game. It's come too far to just stop now. I just won't be updating or working very fast due to issues both with coming up with puzzles, and other things in the real world requiring my attention.
Thanks for your interest in this Undertale concept.
P.S.
There is a secret W.I.P. FUN variable feature in this game. There's a few random things you could find dependent on what your FUN number is. It picks between 1 and 100 at the start of a new game. Not every FUN number has an event tied to it right now, but that's what will happen soon (I'll probably have an event for every FUN number in Alpha 5).
