Why change his design?

Just felt it was time to freshen things up a bit. Blue's previous design has been the way it is since 2019 and at one point or another I realized that I wanted to update it.

Did you not like the old design?

Not at all! The original design for Blue is something that I'll always have a fondness for, being the original and all.

The reason I felt the need to change it is merely because the whole 'scarf, wrist protectors and overcoat' (i think that's what it's called) thing didn't really reflect me through my persona, and would be more fitting to an RPG style story (which if I ever do anything of such I will then use an updated version of the old design.)

This new design more reflects me, and has a more casual modern feel to it which is what I was going for.

How long have you been planning to redo it?

For around a month now, probably longer.

I've had a few ideas come and go during that time that I scrapped but this was something I was happy to settle on.
