So, helpy was in the same office as the fredbear plush in sister location, right?

The fredbear plush also had a hidden microphone.

Assuming Afton set that up to keep watch on the crying child, he would've likely known about the Helpy doll. In that situation, he would've likely known about the sound Helpy makes as well.

In all of this, I'm assuming that until the first salvage the animatronics don't know you're there, or at least don't know who you are, which may or may not effect this.

So, when you boop Helpy's nose - Scraptrap might hear, and may sneak into the building prematurely to find him, driven by the memory of his son and the tragedy - grasping for anything to tie him back to reality after so long.

Considering how the office is in the back of the pizzeria and how the walls are likely thin, it is certainly possible for one of the animatronics to pick up that sound. And the alley description fits too - once again, back of the building.

ALSO, Helpy is in UCN - which is typically referred to as Afton's purgatory, so him being there is less of jumpscare torture, but tied to memory.

I don't know how, or why, but this works in my head.
