so pyro won the first poll and I can see why. you all are probably wondering how I handled him considering there isn't a nerf flamethrower of any kind. well if you remember the multi-class post two of his primaries were SMGs that he shared with sniper. the reason for this is because pyro uses assault rifles in the nerf version. There wasn't really an assault rifle class in the regular game of TF2 so I decided that pyro would take that mantle when switching to the nerf version considering that he wouldn't have his flamethrower. Pyro also has a special ability, killstreaks. for every kill in a row, pyro gets with the same weapon its point value goes up by one. for example if pyro kills you with the stock assault rifle once, it's one point. however, if he gets you with it again it's two points. and this keeps going up until he either dies or uses a different weapon, switching weapons will allow you to keep your killstreak on the previous weapon, but a new one starts for the newly equipped weapon, so you can have a separate killstreak with both your primary and secondary weapon and they'll only be reset after your taken out. now that we've talked about the class itself let's talk about the weapons.
stock assault rifle (primary)

this, like most stock weapons, is the standard play. while a lot of the other assault rifles have special gimmicks this weapon is one of the best for pyro fundamentals
the kill command (primary)

the weapon trades killstreaks for 5 point headshots as well as a faster firing speed
the equalizer (primary)

the weapon does not get killstreaks but will deal double damage if the user has fewer points than the opponent. it has the largest slip size and has a quick load feature that allows you to fire one bullet in a pinch
the blue flare (primary)

the killstreak on this weapon cannot be broken. if you are killed while using this weapon your killstreak will be passed on or added to that of your secondary
pyro has two other primaries, the SMGesus, and the crikey caller. however, I went over both of those in the multi-class episode as he shares them with the sniper. so now let's get onto the secondaries
the stock flare gun

holds six shots with long-range
the short stack

holds four shots instead of six but fires faster and further than stock
the Chernobyl chaser

this weapon has three barrels, one that holds one bullet, one with two, and one with three. as the number of bullets increases the shorter their range becomes but the more potential to score multiple points at once increases. if more than one bullet hits the target you'll earn the corresponding amount of points
pyro has one other secondary, the stock shotgun, however, I also covered it in the multi-class episode since he shares it with the engineer, soldier, and heavy
stock axe (melee)

it is the middle in terms of range and is the only one that can be thrown effectively
da slap

I like ya cut G
the weaponized crystal fragment

has the longest melee range of all of the pyro's melee options but cannot be thrown. also, it rewards you for blocking projectiles with 5 points
and those are all the pyro weapons. what did you think? let me know which class I should cover in the next episode
