So today me and my friends were doing a hike and my friend, we'll call him A, sicne thats the first letter of his name, said to me "hey let's make a game" and then we talked to our friend B, who knows some coding and whatnot and he agreed, and we got to talking. So we don't have much for the game itself yet regarding dates or gameplay or storyline, or any of that but what we do have are the following, and this is from the notes I made.
So the game is going to be a retro 2D game thats top down style. So the game opens up 1st person in a car. you're driving to a campsite/park, and you set up your tent and you walk around a little bit before heading to sleep in the tent. game cuts to black, morning comes, and the tent is gone, but your stuff remains. text apears at the bottom of the screen "It doesn't matter. I must do what I came here to do." and henceforth you start to explore a path that you choose, heading down it where it gets sorta stanley parable like with the repeatign areas with small changes each time. eventually text at the bottom apears reading "It's getting late I should head back" and then you go back, and you get the option to either do a deep sleep and be really rested, but wont wake to noises, or you can do a light sleep, and you see what comes at you in the night, warding them off with your flashlight from your sleeping bag beneath a tree. Now there is more, but this is all I will reveal for now, and we will release a demo for free which will go till night 2 ends, and then the full game will cost money, but amount is uknown. We have 1 beta tester so far, a coder, me, and my friend for story line. Please tell me what you guys think of it. That's all regarding the game for now guys, have fun, stay safe, and for those not abstinent, BE SAFE.
With love and excitement,
