Who would've seen this coming?

Anyways, I saw that a lot of people didn't like the way the DEMO turned out. Thank you all for your criticisms, a lot of them were very valid and helped me realize how bad my game actually was. I'm sorry that my game wasn't good enough.

I started this project when I was 13. I was very passionate, but it's clear that my skills up to that point were not as good as I thought. So, to those who wondered why the game seemed so "edgy", it was because of that. A 13 year old kid trying to make a "mature" and "dark" game, but failing horrendously. I'm positive that if I were to remake the game from the ground up now, it could be 1000x better.

I won't be doing that though.

During the 5-month hiatus, I slowly fell out of love with making games. Though, I still decided to come back to this project because I didn't want to disappoint all of my fans. But now, after seeing all of the negative reception, I don't think I want to continue this fan game.

If I were to continue it, I would completely remake it from the ground up: code, art, music, everything. The problem is that I just don't want to do that. I do not enjoy coding games or making music anymore. My interests and passions have changed greatly throughout last year.

There's just simply no way this game could go on.

Thank you to everyone that's supported my game these past 2 years, I really appreciate you all. It was really cool to watch people play-through my game and get excited over new content.

I will not be re-uploading the DEMO build, because I am ashamed of it. I do wish that people could stop playing it, but I know that won't happen.

I will not be releasing all of what was completed of Darkwood Vale either, because I don't think it was that good anymore.

I will be abandoning all of my accounts, though. I'll go under a new name on the internet and pursue my new interests.

Again, thank you all for supporting me and my fan game over the years and I wish you all a good day/night.
