Ambushed by new level and new enemies!

First off, some friend asked on how to code enemy's AI. I answered his question however while answering, I discovered how inefficient my code was. So I optimized the code, shared the code and used the optimized code on this game

Helping others surely has its benefit

Back to topic, I'm always tempted to construct more levels and create new enemies. And so I did, I constructed more levels in which some are still WIP and rest are complete and also create new enemies to fill new levels or replace enemies in existing levels

While designing the content, I realized that there's a feature not common in metroidvanias but doable in OpenBoR engine : ambush . With many levels Robo Magi has, it would be great to have some levels use ambush feature for variation

To show ambush feature and also show new enemies, watch this video:

Now off to complete the WIP levels and maybe implement ambush there

My favorite gaming alien would be Metroid creature. This alien can evolve into multiple forms.

The answer is singleplayer cause it's easier to start playing right away.

I forgot to measure maxed MPbar length when all MP extensions are collected before. It was too long and covered spell icon so I had to shorten it. These new shots show shortened starting MPbar for Magito and Dukuro.

I'm in the mood to create new levels for this game. Here are some shots from the new levels for today's #screenshotsaturday:

I've animated select screen to make it not plain and looks cool!

Lately I'm busy working on Puzzle Puss. However, while creating new background set for that game, I decided to update front layers. Left shot shows new one while right shot shows old one.

Tough turret to crack? just burn them with fire!
