Amy seems to be gone for basically the whole plot.

She's been hiding from these 'monsters' and surviving off scraps for months now

Eventually running out of food.

She becomes insane as the days pass, hunger evident on her as she desperately tries to think of a solution...

One day, as she sees the remains of a dead victim, she couldn't help herself anymore and took a bite.

Now she's endlessly pacing around the woods, eagerly waiting for her next victim...

¿Where has she been this whole time?

Hiding. Or more like trapped-

The dumbass accidentally locked herself on a cabin while fleeing from the infected-

The lock was old so it got stuck, leaving her inside the cabin with no way out (the only available window there was a little opening on the door)

¿Why is her hammer like that?

The previous owner of the cabin was a blacksmith

Or that's what Amy assumed due to the equipment there.

Being the baddie she is, she shaped some metal she found into 2 big spikes and forged them into the hammer with the purpose of using it to break the wooden door and use it as a lethal weapon against the infected

During this time, Amy was having serious issues with anxiety and panic attacks due to the constant banging and scratching sounds on the door by the infected.

And I feel like she's one of those to eat a whole buffet when anxious (I do that lmao-)

So yup.. food did not last for her-
