Hey everyone. I have bad news to share regarding Jessica/CorpseSyndrome. (The Creator of (Mario) The Music Box) I was a little hesitant to make a post about this, but considering (M)TMB takes up a third of my project, I have to address it.

What happened?

For those who are unaware, Jessica was involved in causing the home she resided in to catch on fire, causing two men to get severly burned. And one of them was killed because of it. While her dog, a mother and her daughter thankfully made it out alive.

As I am writing this post, she's been detained and is awaiting her next court date in May.

I am genuinely heartbroken about this news as I have looked up to Jessica ever since 2021 and I have been a huge (M)TMB fan since. And my heart goes out to the victims who were involved with this tragedy.

Now I'm sure this brings up a huge question some may be thinking...

Will (Mario) The Music Box be removed from Horror Fangame Frenzy because of this?

Despite how controversial this decision may be or not, (M)TMB will remain in HFF. Because despite the atrocious actions Jessica had committed, I still do love the game, characters, and world she's made. I've learned to separate art from the artist. But I will say that she will NOT be credited for (M)TMB as that will go to Team Ari instead.

So yeah, that's my update. I hope if you're affected by this in any way, that you can eventually heal.
