An update containing huge improvements for Sumo Cars 2 has been released, go check it out and leave some feedback!

Changes in version Alpha 0.2.1 include:


GAMEPLAY CHANGES

-Added respawning system

-Added steer speed reduction at high speeds

MAP CHANGES

-Optimized lighting performance on Race map 'Umbra City'

VEHICLE CHANGES

-Fixed engine sound of car 'Oracle' not working

-Fixed broken deformation of car 'Starlight'

-Fixed rear lights being considered brake lights for car 'Serpent'

-Fixer rear lights being considered brake lights for car 'Starlight'

-Improved handling of car 'Zeal'

-Improved overall handling of all vehicles

MISCELLANEOUS CHANGES

-Fixed audio level not applying in-game

-Audio now gets muted when pausing

-Improved explosion light effect

-Disabled native resolution default

-Upgraded Unity Engine [2021.2.13f1 -> 2021.2.15f1]

Sumo Cars 2's development has been facing some technical difficulties with the editor, however, the issue is now resolved.

Development is continuing, and we are hoping to get an update out by new year's. Stay tuned!

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

The project isn't dead! We know we sound like a broken record by now, but there's been difficulties in the real world stopping true progress.

However, progress IS being made. Have a screenshot of the new WIP map! :)

The Alpha 0.3.3 update is here!

You can expect many improvements to visuals, expansions to the Car Upgrades System, and drastically improved overall handling, making the game much more fun.
