I have made an introduction for my cartoon vision, and it has taught me a lot. I already know about the hurdles (public relations, copyright, license, etc.), but I didn't realize how much research would go into such a project. Many of the original holders of these cartoons have changed a lot over the years. However, the good news is such a show is possible in theory; that's why I spent weeks on this reel. Not only did I have fun with the project, I had the opportunity to draw other things besides the Dovelight Crusaders.

I like the notion that characters can be in many settings. In my opinion, video games can make it more possible than a television show. After all, games offer the interactivity to provide multiple outcomes. A show on telly is pre-determined (predictable). Because of the vast scope of the project, Epic VG Toons would function better as an MMORPG. Will cartoons and video-game characters ever collide in a grand world of kooky adventure? Only time will tell.
