And so, 2023 has officially come to a close.

I was expecting to have done a lot more this year, to be perfectly honest.

At the time of Long Hours' trailer being released I was very confident that the game would be finished this year. I ran into a LOT of bumps with Long Hours' development, and I do apologize for the heavy delays on my projects. With each change I've made, however, things have been turning out so much better. Phobia being changed to Showman's was a huge decision, and I do not regret it at all. I have a big passion for these games, and I want to see them become a reality in the best way I can possibly make them.

I'm trying to get Showman's: The Awakening released this year. I won't say when, because I don't know, but even take that with a grain of salt. It's turning out nicely so far though, so that's good news!

While I'm heavily focused on Showman's, I do want to take some time to work on other projects and also to learn new things, like Unreal Engine 5 and Substance Painter. One thing I really want to do is learn how to make my workflow with modeling/texturing much cleaner/more professional, because I'm getting tired of doing the same old thing that's starting to feel absolutely tiresome, and I'm sure I could be making everything so much easier for myself.

In terms of other projects, I'd love to make a more story based FNaF fangame inspired by Security Breach/RUIN. Y'know, big fancy location with characters who are more fun and expressive or something like that. I think it would be interesting to give it a shot because I love the vibes of Security Breach and its characters. I definitely want to make more fangames than just Showman's though. I think they'd all just be one off games, but if a concept starts to stick, then maybe I'll take it down a longer road!

Something that makes me happy about this past year is that FNaF had the best one yet! RUIN, the movie, and Help Wanted 2 were all amazing and I can't pick which one I liked more. I'm really excited to see where it all goes next!

And, speaking of FNaF in general, you do know that it's turning 10 years old in August, right? Apparently there's going to be something pretty cool for its anniversary, so I'm looking forward to that! Maybe I can cook something up for the anniversary myself?

So, let's see what the new year has in store for us, shall we?

To make up for all of this madness have a look at the redesigned endoskeleton model!

3,000 followers is actually insane. I wouldn't have made a decade old series of shitposts into something genuinely so cool nowadays without you guys.

Phobia: The Awakening's 5th anniversary is on August 27th.

Big and important update on the overall SHOWMAN'S series.

Happy birthday @itsizsgames !!!

I didn't want to miss the opportunity on drawing something for you, this is a little rushed sadly

. . .

SHOWMAN! 1!1!1!

Giving Unreal Engine 4 another shot with a much more open mind so I don't fall into Tutorial Hell and get discouraged. So far so good! Feel quite a bit more confident in using it as of right now.

Very pretty sunset today.

A joke I made with @Sillylilman that turned into a good idea for a drawing

Nightmare Mark

showman's is just gonna stay as fangames.

i am genuinely sorry for how messy this stuff has been. this has been such a rocky road for me and i could go on and on about it all but it's not really necessary tbh.
