Foxy the Pirate is a character from the show "Fredbear and Friends", and was the first character brought to life as an animatronic for Fredbear's Family Diner. His character in the show portrays him as a caring sea captain, who will do anything to keep his friends safe.

The animatronic was made to reflect this, so whenever a child was injured the beloved pirate would dash towards them and call employees, or if worse, the hospital.

However, only three days after release of the animatronic, children would start crying because of Foxy's design. And to make matters worse for the kids, their cries would activate the animatronic's protocols and dash toward the children. The kids were very afraid of it for a long time, and some stated having nightmares about it running towards them when they're in pain.

So, afterwards, the animatronic was discarded and thrown into parts and service, never to be used again.

At night, however, he will sometimes bug out and dash towards the office in search for an injured individual. To stop him, you must play his lullaby/alarm when he is at his final stage. This will make him retreat to his original point and clear his motherboard of any injured people in the building for a short while.

If you fail to stop him, he will exit his closet and dash past the dining hall and leap through your window.
