Hey all, Gene here, I’m writing this message using Ghostly's account, and I would like to break the silence and tell you all what's happening.
As of 11:12PM on the 28th of January, Ghostly has sadly passed away.
This news devastated me, loosing someone I cared for with my life -and one that the Georgigers community loved- really hurt me to my core, and now I think it’s time you all know the truth.
He was a really great person, he co-directed and wrote scripts for multiple Ocky's Night's fangames that were made by the community for the community. He loved the Georgigers series with all his heart, writing good theories and giving off such great potential to finish off the games he was helping with. His passion for the JOLLY Horrors series was clear and evident, and he dedicated a lot of his time and energy to helping the community develop fangames and writing scripts for them. He had a knack for coming up with theories and plots for the games and was always eager to collaborate with others to bring them to life.
He was hiding his pain from the outside, and tried to suppress it by having fun and enjoying his time in the Georgigers discord server. But, overtime he would no longer be able to hide his feelings. He had gone inactive, only responding in DMs on occasion and avoiding talking in the communities he was once active in. However, even though he was trying to keep his pain hidden, it was still there. He may have been gone, but he still had a deep appreciation for those who had been supporting him during his time in the community.
It’s upsetting to leave things the way they are, but it's for the best as there is sadly nothing else that we can do. He really wanted to be here for when Georgigers reached 1,000 followers, and I had replied “You will.” I’m sad this never became a reality and I really wish It could have.
It's a difficult decision to accept, but we must remember that he is in a better place now and no longer has to suffer. We should be grateful for the time he was here and for the impact he had on our lives. His legacy will live on through Georgigers, and he will always be remembered. He was a great friend and mentor, and his spirit lives on in the work he did to help others. We should take comfort in knowing that he is in a peaceful place and is no longer going through the pain and suffering he endured while he was here. He should be remembered fondly as someone who touched the lives of many and inspired them to continue his work. His passion for helping others will certainly be remembered and carried on by his organization. It's a testament to his legacy that Georgigers has grown so much in such a short time. His spirit of compassion and kindness will live on in the lives of those he helped, and his legacy is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, we can make a difference and reach out to those in need.
That’s all I really have to say, thank you for everything Ghostly, and may you rest in peace.
