Many of you have probably already guessed, but yes I’m working on a new game! Similarly to how Skelemania wasn’t a proper sequel to Super Skeleman, Super Skelemania will not be a proper sequel to Skelemania. It’s more of a followup, or a chance for me to make the best game I can possibly make.
One big change to this game is the art! I’m very fortunate to be able to work with the incredibly talented Miroko, who will be doing all of the art for Super Skelemania, and produced the beautiful tiles in the gif below. I’m also working with Ayrayen again, whose music you’ll recognize if you played Super Skeleman or Skelemania. I will be doing the programming and level design as always.
Like Skelemania, I will be running a weekly devlog on the game’s development, which you can follow on the new Super Skelemania game page. I haven’t decided what day of the week this will be updated on, so stay tuned for that.
The final tidbit is that Super Skelemania will not be free. The price is still up in the air, but you should expect something around the $10 ballpark. It will be available for purchase on Gamejolt, itch.io, and hopefully Steam. A free demo is also expected.
