Report of 12/22/1999:
A mother calls the police at 6pm, reporting that her 8-year-old son was missing in Lumina Forest, with the last time he was seen being in a nearby park. After the call, the police quickly moved to the forest location, beginning the search for the boy.
One of the police officers, Jackson Miller, managed to find the boy, sitting on a tree trunk, while... playing with someone or something. Jackson slowly approached the two, drawing his gun and pointing it at the creature. In a description by Jackson himself: The creature that was a humanoid “rabbit”, about the same height as the boy, wore blue pants with suspenders and he… looked like a cartoon.
Jackson, with his gun pointed at a creature, tried to shoot it, but to no avail. For the boy, quickly, getting between Jackson and the rabbit, stopping him and begging him not to hurt the rabbit, because the boy's second words: 'He was your friend'. Jackson was confused by the boy's attitude, insisting that he get out of the way, but again, to no avail. The boy continued ahead, making it clear that he wouldn't let Jackson hurt the rabbit. Jackson, with no other choice, ended up lowering the gun, but keeping it in his hand, if he needed it.
Jackson approaches the two cautiously, this time, wanting to have a conversation with the boy and (perhaps) that creature. According to Jackson: The boy explained that he entered the forest out of pure curiosity, and ended up finding the rabbit, whose name was Oswald, sitting on a rock. The boy approached the rabbit and the two began to play and have fun. Becoming friends in the process.
The information that Oswald had not hurt the boy or had any malicious intent towards him was a relief to Jackson, but by the same token, he didn't trust that rabbit. So, he quickly takes the boy away and gives him to his family. Closing the case right there. So, he went to an S.S.A employee and reported everything about the rabbit, but the employee, seeing that the rabbit was “harmless”, just did a little report on the rabbit, and left it free, believing that nothing bad would happen. bad.
Report from 02/12/2000:
The same mother called the police that day, around 3 pm, reporting that the boy was missing in the woods again. Without delay, some police officers ended up going to search, including Jackson, who led the officers to the same place where he last found the boy.
Upon arriving at the location, they find the boy, but... the boy, unfortunately, was found dead.
The boy's body was found with several injuries and without his

and

, a grotesque scene to see according to some witnesses. Furthermore, near the corpse, a strange drawing was found, which featured the boy, the rabbit and something called "Oswald's friend". That drawing left everyone there confused, except Jackson, who knew exactly what kilo was. The boy's body was taken and the family was informed shortly afterwards. But Jackson was the only one who remained at the scene, waiting for everyone to leave, to begin his search for the possible culprit.
After everyone left, Jackson began his search, going deeper into the forest, with just his flashlight and his gun, technically taking risks, as he didn't know if the rabbit had actually killed the boy or not. After a few seconds, he finds Oswald, curled up and crying, looking scared and terrified, probably due to the boy's death. Without thinking much, Jackson points his gun in the direction of the rabbits, but doesn't shoot immediately, he gives the rabbit a chance to explain what happened.
Oswald explains what happened, according to himself: he and the boy were having fun as always, since the boy sometimes visited Oswald. At one point, he ended up taking a nap, while the boy went to have lunch at his house, and after the nap, Oswald woke up, realizing that the dead boy's body was already lying next to him.
Jackson didn't believe the rabbit's words, but... after thinking for a while, he came to the conclusion that it didn't make sense for him to be the culprit. After all, the two were friends, and the rabbit himself had no arms, so... he was incapable of having committed the crime. So, Jackson decided that the rabbit was innocent. But, before going, Jackson asked Oswald about his “friend”, but the rabbit didn't know what he was talking about, according to the rabbit himself: 'He didn't even have any friends besides the boy'.
The rabbit's statement left Jackson confused, but he didn't question it, Jackson just walked away, already knowing where he should go. He went to meet the same S.S.A employee he spoke to last time, telling him everything that happened, he even showed the strange drawing that the boy made before he died. The employee quickly reported everything that had happened to his superiors, who sent a squad to capture the rabbit and take it to a research center closer to the location.
The rabbit stayed there for a few days, with some studies and tests carried out on it. Before sending him to the island of anomalies, which lives there peacefully, being one of the few that is not aggressive. But the mystery of who the boy's killer was and who was "Oswald's friend" still lives on.
