The development of Five Nights at Candy’s 3 is going really well.
But something happened that I didn’t expect to happen this suddenly.
I dropped out of the “paid-internship hunt” since it doesn’t get me anywhere at this point. But being in that situation was what allowed me to make these games this easily, since I was mostly sitting at home and writing internship applications with every related company I could find, which also gave me a lot of free time.
But as I said, I’ve decided to stop it, I essentially got an opportunity to continue a final “bonus year” of school which is essential to go to a 2 year school segment, which can lead to me being able to study “Medialogy” (or something similar).
I woke up Monday the 8th of August, thinking I’d just have to go to a meeting where we’d figure out some possibilities, and there was 1 available spot in 1 class where I could go for a year so I could go to the 2 year educational thingy.
I accepted the offer, and school started immediately (literally the next day).
What this means for FNAC 3 is that the previous “schedule” I had worked out for the development of FNAC 3 can’t be fully followed, since I have less time in my day now.
But
I have no intention of cancelling FNAC 3, neither to just go on a year long hiatus from development. I will continue working on the game as much as I can. The situation has been that the game had gotten a bit bigger than I had planned, and I’ve now also got less time to work on it. I feel like this would be the point where someone would’ve just cancelled the game, just like that. But I won’t.
FNAC 3 will - based on my current estimation - be released in September.
The game’s full design/plan is 90% finished.
The game’s “physical” state is 75% finished.
The game will be much bigger than FNAC and FNAC 2, and will have large emphasis on the minigames. I am also including more Extra content, such as challenges, and the development process of the Nightmare Monster Rat.
That is all for now. Thanks for reading!
