One Night at Springtrap's: Locked Within (Official)

Answering some questions some people had.

(Edit: Play the game before you read it)

Hey y'all, I'll be answering some questions you may have, which I'm happy to do.

  1. "They call this game one night at Springtrap but has no Springtrap"

    • The reason why the name "Springtrap" is still in the title is due to me utilizing a loophole. The players themselves are in a new building with new springlock animatronics. Therefore, they are "Springtrapped" in a different manner since we wanted to do some different things with this game. The relevance of the name "Springtrap's" is still highlighted by this loophole, and I followed along with this since I saw other devs do similar stuff to this. While not in the same vein, the Radiance Team used a loophole to make and release Five Nights to Remember before releasing their remake of Treasure Island, allowing them to work on another project before releasing their "final" project.

  2. "Why is there a spider and a human bot"

    • If you read my bio, you'll see that I enjoy experimenting with my personal and team projects. I’ve introduced new faces into my work because it keeps things fresh. Why make it dull when you can add some excitement, right? Also, just a heads up this won't be the last project where I plan to include new characters.

  3. "This is not "One Night at Springtrap's" anymore"

    • Let me tell you something. Have you ever played with toys, like action figures and blocks? Probably not, because many of you were likely given a phone or a tablet instead. What I'm getting at is that when I was growing up, I would always give personalities to my toys, letting my creative mind bring them to life and provide them and infuse them with a new purpose.

Recently, when I was tasked with remaking this series, I took what already existed, refined it, and infused it with a new purpose and a storyline within the established setting. It was the best decision I could have made. Now, you can see what I had to offer: I added new characters and created a story that gives them reason and context within the settings. I'm personally very happy with the final product; it made sense to me, and I believe it resonates with others as well.

In conclusion, I hope this clarifies everything. Thank you to everyone who enjoys playing my game, and I also appreciate those who provide constructive criticism. The goal of this project was never to achieve ultra-realistic RTX graphics; rather, it was meant to blend Scott's style with my own and experiment with finer details from there. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for playing the game!

Best,

Malakai, the Creator

Locked Within posters!

I don't like using copyrighted characters, and I don't feel comfortable doing so.

We're patching it up soon!

Hay y'all's, go ahead and check the page for me.

(We had to repost cause of some technical difficulties )

Hey y'all! We may encounter some delays as we continue working on this project, so consider this a heads-up. I apologize in advance.

Ps: Crappy art by me jaja

Indefinite Delay

Sorry y'all, the project release date is going to be pushed a bit.

We're (still) working!

Since the game is at its release in a few days, I've decided to share these images to ya'll's.
