Anyone here know a good and simple engine that allows you to make games similar to those old shovelware ports of games to windows?

(I'm too poor for Clickteam Fusion, i'm not gonna use Unity, and GameMaker crashes my pc.)

i may or may not make an full art of some person or i may just leave this like that-
