April News #2 (Alpha images)

Hey! :D

I’ve just uploaded some images from the game! They are not fully done yet and the faces will be more detailed and the environments in the screenshots will be filled with more stuff. Even if this is in alpha stage it is a really big upgrade from my previous game Eela. The faces are now made in a separate program and NOT made from the default image library in RPG Maker VX Ace. The shadows will be better and Books of Taion will now have sun rays to better present the weather.

As I said in the previous news update I haven’t had much time to work with the game due to alot of other projects and …well real life ^^. I’m now aiming for a Q3 2015 release of the game and I’m so excited to continue making the maps and I will hopefully be able to show you more maps and give some more details of the story in the May news update ^^

Stay awesome and thank you for the amazing support with Eela and this game Books of Taion ^^!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

If you’ve played the Vault demo and enjoyed it, please consider ‘liking’ the game page here on Gamejolt and/or leave a comment!

Also please consider tossing Vault on your Wishlist, I really appreciate your support!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!

(Btw, sorry for the double post! I'll try to post less)

I made a small jungle house.
