Arboreal Demigod 0.5.1: Improved Ground Graphics

Changes:

  • Shading on ground graphics has been improved. As the ground covers roughly a third of the screen most of the time, this brings a great improvement to the aesthetic of the game.

  • When playing on the human level, an objective will now be randomly chosen of either “Number of ceremonies attended” or “Number of woodcutters absorbed”.

  • A message is now displayed on screen when the player has run out of energy and has tried to do actions that require it like moving and spawning trees.

  • I’ve found that crows have been getting population explosions too often, so crows now lay eggs slightly less often.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

It's now possible to destroy some of the obstacles and gain access to new locations or create shortcuts. #gamedev #indiegame #rpg
