Firstly, no. I'm not dead. Just been under a lot of demotivation and real-life issues. But I'm very much still active and planning stuff. Life's just been busy and when you have to do both the artwork and the programming, you get drained quickly. So, I suppose I should update you on stuff that's going on for the games.
So, I am aware that the font is still an issue. I'm trying to fix it and while most of it is easy to fix, my main issue is the start-up sequence for the minigames. That's strictly ran by script and code, meaning that if I were to fix the font issue, I'd have to either make it a gif or a video, which is easier said than done. I wish I knew how to properly get the font stuck to the program because apparently embedding the font doesn't work. Also, I might alter the A.I. a bit of a few characters. Lastly, I do plan to make a mobile port for this game soon. But I'd rather fix the font issue first before then. Until the font issue is fixed, if you want to play the game with the correct font, install Abduction 2002.
Ah, yes. The hype for this game. I'm very happy with how the beta is right now, but I sadly haven't updated it in months. When I thought I was going to get the first part released to you all, well, demotivation struck. I do hope to get the first part finished for you guys. I really do. I have big plans for the second part, but it does require help from a friend. I wish I could say more but spoilers. Just know that I literally only have 2 characters left to make assets for and code and then add the voice lines to have the first part completed. Let's hope and pray motivation comes back to me.
I'm sure a lot of you are more hyped about this game cause of how I plan to make it. However, this game will be on hiatus for good until I at least finish ROTP V2. I will tell you this though: the characters will be heavily updated, including the fact that Sinister Fazgirl will be replaced with Sinister Bare.
Non-FNAF game?
I know that I made an announcement to hopefully make a non-FNAF game soon. When is it going to happen? I have no clue. Will it even happen? I hope it does. I have big plans for it already and am having everything mapped out. I'm just missing a good modeler to help me. But, in honesty, I should wait until I tell my FNAF fangame story before I work on this, so in the meantime, I'm just going to have concept arts and ideas written out in the background.
Once again, I appreciate you all for your patience. I'm sorry I haven't done much lately, but I do plan to get things done soon. I have plans made and I plan to make steps towards them, one step at a time. In the meantime, if you got any fanart for ROTP V2, be sure to share it and tag me! It might appear in the game as a poster! Who knows? ;)
