Armstrong Update Wave 3 was supposed to come out a while ago.
But I’ve been thinking. Coming up with concepts. I’ve been thinking about what I really, truly want this game to be: a smooth, visually appealing experience that lets everyone’s imagination flow. Therefore, a very big update is coming for Cross/Me. Changes for the Menus, FULL gamepad controller support with button tutorials, as well as other big things, such as:
Advanced Character Stat Displays, Both In-Battle and in Character Select
Starting with the next update, the radar charts on the Character Select screens displaying vague stats for the character will be gone. From then on, you will be able to preview your character’s exact Health, Speed, Attack, and Defense statistics by simply looking where the radar chart used to be.
Introducing: Balanced Mode!
Feel like one character is more powerful than the other? Activate Balanced Mode in the Battle Options menu to evenly match all your characters, creating a much more even and balanced match!
Local Multiplayer!
With the addition of Balanced Mode comes the ability to play local multiplayer with your friends! You can play 2-player versus or co-op! Compete with friends to see who’s better at this game! (Because seriously, I’d totally support a competitive scene for this game eventually.)
Character Leveling
As with any RPG, you gotta have your leveling, right? Well, in this game, leveling is actually pretty simple. All you have to do is increase your character’s level on the Character Select screen, and all their stats will raise with it as well!
These are just a few of the changes coming for the game, and obviously, it’s going to take a while to finish. But in the end, I hope it’ll be worth the wait (wink wink).
And if you’re still wanting Armstrong Update Wave 3, don’t worry, it’s coming. Just waaaay later than originally planned.
Happy Holidays!
And Merry Christmas to you all!
Happy birthday, Jesus. :)
