Art Weeklies | Important Announcement

after almost 3 long weeks, I'm happy to announce that Art Weeklies is officially back, this time around with a new team behind it. Open the article to learn more about them all (+ some extra info)!

The reason Art Weeklies stopped for a while was because I (AnubiArts) couldn't keep working on all of this by myself... Well, there's now a team working on this project, so here they are!

@LUKELCS

Lukelcs does quite a few things, including gamedev, art and music. Lukelcs was the kickstarter for bringing Art Weeklies back, thanks to his help AW is coming back with new themes and new team members.

@Frisbi

Frisbi does pixel art primarlily, always making both landscapes and characters. Frisbi has also participated in past Art Weeklies before. With Frisbi's help, we'll be able to make new themes and ideas for everyone around GameJolt, along with anything that comes by.

@ClapRose

ClapRose does a few things, most prominently at GameJolt being Digital and Traditional Art, may it be from big or small scales. ClapRose has also participated at Art Weeklies in the past. With ClapRose on board, we'll define future themes and ideas regarding this project, along with other types of plans.

@SmudgedVolt

SmudgedVolt does lots of Digital Art, with vibrant colors, great character design, and lovely backgrounds. With Volt around here, there'll be new themes and ideas shared for the creative community at GameJolt to make things out of, along with whatever's next for this community.

@AnubiArts (hey that's me!)

I'll still be here in the team at Art Weeklies! though now I'll be focusing on behind the scenes things, such as managing the @ArtWeeklies account, along with assistance/help regarding anything else that happens by.

This is now a team effort rather than an 1-person project, which makes me happy because it means that Art Weeklies will be able to continue going forward. Thanks for everyone in the team for deciding to take part of this, along with everyone else for waiting this return.

Art Weeklies' return regarding its community will go as follow:

  1. From around the time this post goes live, Art Weeklies' community title will go from "[On Hiatus] to [Returning soon!].

  2. Along with it, both the Suggestions and FAQ channels will open to the public again, so if you want to suggest or ask anything regarding this community/project, you're free to!

  3. When Friday comes by, the first new themes will be announced by the Art Weeklies account.

  4. Along with this, the [Returning soon!] in the community title will be removed, leaving just "Art Weeklies" in its place. Also, the Submissions channel will be opened again to the public

I hope you're all ready for more weeklies! See you all soon.

-Art Weeklies Team.

Sadly no new art for today, but instead I'll take this moment to ask you:

What would you like to see from my art? More Redraws? Sillyposts? Motivational art messages? Originals? Fanarts? I'm all ears!

Creation & Destruction

No new art for today, but instead I want to ask you:

What's your most "played" game/software?

in my case its Aseprite (the pixel art software I use to draw!) and Team Fortress 2/Deep Rock Galactic as games, they're all very fun to use/play!
