The animation system is 75% complete . I havent managed to get the jumping mechanic working yet , though I think I need to use a sensor for it . When the sensor detects contact with the ground it stops the jumping animation switching instead to walking or running but if it detects that the character is in the air it plays only the jumping animation Its a real hassle having to set this up for every single animation state just to get the jumping logic right . The approach I showed in a few earlier posts was only suitable for Mario .

In version 0.4.2, I fixed Sonic's acceleration physics. However, as you can see, the animation doesn't look quite right, so I need to decouple the animation from Sonic's actual physics.
So what are my plans for the future?
