It is very likely I ran into a scam within a scam. A fucking discord user posing as a Steam Admin tried to get me to pay money to recover my account. Their account was created November 25, 2022. My alarms went off and I have taken screenshots and I am working to contact Steam. I have had to handle my banking and immediately freeze my card. Thank God my instincts kicked in and I blocked them on Discord. Thankfully I was shown this is actually a scam and it's scary it was following basically the same script. Wish me luck. This day will be pretty miserable.
