Peculiar Activity at Nimbus Isle

A rather peculiar island far away from Diverra's main land.

It used to be a peaceful habitat for local fauna and flora, as Sapiens didn't have reliable transport to travel by sea at the time.

During the Elemental War, a shiny meteor crashed right on the isle, which caused a huge chemical reaction changing the whole ecosystem.

The local fauna were driven away from the crash site or the isle altogether, and the flora either withered or mutated into completely new species.

From the remaining chemicals released from the meteor, enormous rainclouds began to form and drift towards the seas around the isle, some of them reaching Diverra's main land.

Luckily the rain from these clouds isn't toxic or corrosive, but the weather around Nimbus Isle became drastically frantic and dangerous to traverse.

While not many Sapiens experienced issues, Flora Sapiens were hit hard by the climate shift caused by the heavy rainfall. They had to move their settlements to another half of Branchill as their homes began to mutate as well.

From the Artifi Age forward, access to Nimbus Isle became prohibited not only to preserve native wildlife and history, but for the Sapiens own safety.

“This was all my fault. I was the one who wanted to summon our Dark Lord on Sunday. Now if you’d be so kind as to leave, so I can get ready for our ritual tomorrow.”

“Lord Hyness, I-“

“Shush.”

“But we just wanted to-”
